Many of the plants growing in the Foxtail Lilly garden can be purchased from the shop in one and two litre pots (all British grown). We can give you growing tips and also offer a garden design advice service.

The garden that surrounds the barn shop combines texture, structure and drifts of colour in a naturalistic planting style with gravel paths leading you through the borders. Annuals are encouraged to self-seed and sit well next to blocks of perennials.

The garden has evolved over a 15-year period and has attracted lots of interest. It is open by appointment on Mondays or Tuesdays for garden or art group visits. In 2006 the Royal Horticultural Society magazine The Garden ran a six page feature.
